ANSWERS TO PRAYER
God’s answers to our prayers are there all of the time,
Sometimes we do not seek; therefore, we do not find.
The answer may just be what we have asked Him for,
So it’s not hard to say a “thank you” to the Lord.
But other times our need may not by Him be met,
We think He did not hear, perhaps He did forget.
Or He may have a will far better than our own,
Yet every need and care is surely to Him known.
There’s nothing that’s too big, and nothing that’s too small,
We can bring everything and to our Father call.
What sounds like something He would never care about
Or just a little fear or just a little doubt,
Is something He has time and truly wants to hear,
So bow your head just now and find that He is near.
Though He knows all our need and He knows all our care,
He truly wants to hear, so come to Him in prayer.
