Because I never learnt how to love
     I do not know how to love
Because I never received love
     I can never return love 
Because love seemed to burn
     I avoid stepping on its hot coals as much as I can
Because shots were fired with love
     I dodge every love bullet as much as I can
Because I seem to be cursed with love
     I can never satisfy you
Because even with your love song
Each lyric woven in its own fabric of love 
    I can never sing back
