Answers -that's all I want, just - answers
But all I seem to get are more questions
Clearly there must be explanations
Directly related to the subject at hand -
Every time the subject arises
Fumbling and stuttering rise to the fore
Great efforts are put forth to avoid
Helping me understand things this deep
I believe the world is sworn to secrecy
Just to keep young men confused
Keeping me that way seems to be a simple chore -
Letting me in on the secret seems to be the hard part
My own wishes count for naught
Nothing I can do seems to change my plight
Only darkness surrounds my inquiries
Perish the thought that an adult would assist me
Queries are for grownups seems to be the rule
Rarely am I given the attention I deserve
Shall I assume the question is too much -
Though that would surprise me and be
Unfit for the education of the young -
Vacant seems to be the state of mind when asked;
"What does a woman really want?"
Xmas will come and go without resolution -
Yelling and stamping my feet is childish and
Zero is what I know now and that is unlikely to change
