Answered Prayer
I looked to the Heaven’s and sent up a prayer
I asked God to give me a sign that He’s there
All of a sudden, I felt safe and warm
I knew He was there to keep me from harm
As I prayed, I looked around to see
All of God’s beauty that was surrounding me
I thanked God for all the gifts in my life
For all the good things and even the strife
But as I sat there, I still felt somewhat alone
I asked God for something more precious than this life of my own
I asked Him to send me someone to love
Someone to share all that I’ve ever dreamed of
Someone to laugh with, to cry with and to smile with
Someone special that I can enjoy my life with
Then, I thanked God for hearing my heartfelt prayer
Before I knew it, YOU appeared in my life from nowhere
I’ve been blessed with an Angel from the Heaven’s above
God heard my prayer and sent YOU here for me to love
