Another's Love

She was the one he wanted
the one "who got away"

no pleading or love making
could make her want to stay

her hair so blonde and golden
with eyes of deepest blue

his heart would soon be broken
to another man she's true

all heads would turn with wonder
as she glides across the floor

a beauty simply flawless
leaving one to wish for more

her kisses still remembered
from moist lips her nectar sweet

as evening comes he finds her
amongst flowers ankle deep

alas he cannot touch her
mirrored only in his sleep...
