Another Sunday morning
The beginning of the week
The future's 'round the corner
Hope you find all that you seek
Hope your life is full of happiness
That there is peace for all of us
That your needs are being satisfied
And your wants not covetous
Think before you speak your mind
Are they words that one should hear?
Your mouth should do the talking
Not assisted by your rear
Use some time to dwell upon
Those things which you believe
Treat others as you would yourself
Do not practice to deceive
It's time this sermon's over
'Cause I'm not the preacher man
Just sharing how I live my life
And gettin' by the best I can
These are some thoughts that I have had
At this beginning of the week
I hope these words can help you
As you venture what you seek
