Another Stupid Rhyme

I'll wait forever
If that's what it takes
Even if it means
My heart breaks

There's no need to worry
I'll be just fine
Waiting for the day
I can call you mine

Some may ask
Why I made this choice
Well, I'll tell you people
Listen to my voice

When you find someone
Who finally understands
You'll hold on to
Whatever you can

Not wanting to lose
Yet knowing you may not win
I guess it's true
Your love is the sweetest sin

Wishing and waiting
Just sitting around
I'll keep listening
For that sweet little sound

To hear your voice
That is my desire
Seeing your smile
Is warmer than any fire

Can you believe it?
I'm wasting my time
Turning this all into
Another stupid rhyme

Nothing stupid about this heartfelt rhyme, Holly! Hope you get the love you desire in return. It's sad when it's one-sided. If he truly understands you, he must know how you feel. It's never a waste of time to express your feelings honestly. Best Wishes, Carolyn
