Another Phase Of Life

The world has perceived my image in their minds
As someone who's forlorn and depressed all the time.
But how do I justify the reason behind my melancholic playlist?
How do I show them my torn-up dream list,
Which I once created with the intent of holding the globe in my fist?
How do I make everyone believe it hadn’t been the same?
It just turned resentful after my loss in a lovegame.

Earlier, I had my core stiff and strong,
'Cause I never cared about the places people threw their unkind words from.
Never mind, everybody's still gonna think my reason is lame,
Without hearing my side—it's me they're gonna blame.
