Another Night Spent By the Luminescent Ocean

Lead me, love with your grasping hand to a beautiful, lonely place
you envisioned in your vivid dream;
I will follow you while your long dress flaps in the rising, bluish haze
penetrated by a luminous moonbeam.

My hope is that this secret, as any other, is kept forever,
never mentioning it to anyone...wouldn't a true lover
refuse to answer this question when they ask, " Where have you been? "
We'll return to relive another night spent by the luminescent ocean.
