Another Night In Paradise

Another
night
in
paradise
the
cobbles
being
tread,
The
only
source
to
see
of
course
my
habit
remains
fed,Another
nights
denial
where
my
switch
is
set
to
off,Another
night
asking
myself
when
is
enough
enough,Two
decades
plus
under
my
belt
and
still
wake
everyday,convinced
next
week
ill
get
the
strength
to
stand
and
walk
away,The
seedy
kerb
side
crawlers
the
pretence
and
the
lies,The
looks
that
burn
right
through
as
they
undress
me
with
their
eyes,The
price
tag
i
attach
to
myself
asks
me
what
on
earth,Where
you
thinking
Julie
ann
its
tenfold
more
you're
worth,So
twenty
five
years
later
when
I've
paid
a
hefty
price,I
still
get
read
for
another
night
in
not
so
nice.

Thanks for sharing this... exposing your thoughts through your unique poetic style. Meanwhile, I greet you with the love of the Lord, expressed by John 3:16 of the Bible, "For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life." Be blessed.
