Notes About The Poem

Sorrow is for the living who are lost. Joy and happiness are for believers and for those who have passed through Heaven's door and are waiting for us there.

Another Month is Past

Another month is past today
Since God, took you, my wife away
No suffering at Heaven's door
You now have life forevermore

The love we had, you left for me
Also, forever, it will be
And when I pass, we'll meet again
When that will be, I don't know when

Until I do, I'll carry on
And when my days on earth are done
We'll meet again on Heaven's shore
Together life, forevermore

For those who read this poem of praise
I pray you only happy days
A life of love, of joy and peace
And Heaven's door upon release

To join your loved ones gone before
Who've crossed the sill at Heaven's door
To gaze upon our Savior's face
We will be there, due to His grace
