Another Monday Morning
The sunday slumber came to pass, it's monday morning, ah, alas.
Another weekend come and gone abruptly ending in the dawn.
The skies are grey this new born day, don't let it cause you to dismay.
The sun is up there in the sky, yesterday tells us it didn't die.
Soon enough tuesday is here, another reason to give cheer.
Did monday not suffice enough? Or was it all just a big bluff.
The weekend's coming, but woa, let's chill.
Humpday's here, so take a pill.
The weather's fine here in my mind.
Too cloudy for my keys to find.
To go down south where it is warm.
The passing of the days has now become the norm.
Thursday, friday, saturday and once again it's sunday.
My goodness, time can really fly so fast, it just won't stay.
I should have titled this a week, but one day at a time.
Well you know me, it has to be, all about the rhyme.
eh he he he. A little ditty for your kitty. :)
