Another Meeting

Oh God, another meeting, My sanity is fleeting, Stuck in this mind-numbing vortex, One torture after the next. People fighting to stay awake, I don’t know how much more I can take, My eyes keep going to the clock, I must fight the urge to get up and walk. We must act like we are interested. All these concepts must be digested, The bosses are looking at each man, Since the minute this meeting began, To feel good about inviting this bunch, And the money they spent on lunch. This meeting has produced many decisions, That must be honored like a religion, But forgotten once we walk out the door, Quick, we need a meeting schedule some more!

Ah yes, I remember the charm of those awesome meetings. The more the merrier. I tried to avoid them like the plague unless it was important to me and I walked out with the TO DO list that surprisingly got done. I was radical that way!

Maybe my memory is better than theirs because they seem to go over the same crap time and time again.
