Another Life

I have been waiting
For a chance to change
I've worked hard for where I'm at
I'm looking forward to something strange

Time to sell this house
The other is almost in place
Acres of peaches to tend to
I'll be living with plenty of space

Children are settled
We have tons of land
United as a family
The stronger we will stand

No more crap
Memories become anew
I'm ready to replace everything
Including loving you

My assets will hold
I can retire early and with ease
I was willing to risk it all
For my heart to please

Now I know I'm moving on to another life
It's all about me
I'll bury thoughts of you
Under a peach tree
