Another History Report - The Donner Party

The Donner's left Springfield in forty-six,
but they took Hastings Cutoff and got in a fix.
Things got a bit tense as they continued to tramp,
but they found themselves a nice place to camp.
Their Winter hideaway scenery was inspired,
but the food, they say, left something to be desired.

Yep, true - I probably shouldn't make light of it...it would be in bad...never mind, why do I keep doing this? It's one of the strange things about some human's nature that they become fascinated with such nature (guilty). I just read the Wikipedia article about it and it's just crazy - talking about from bad to worse. The whole spectrum of human behavior. Many survived. I have a friend in Carson City. He was complaining about the weather, but at least he has a space heater and food.
