Another Hard Ride

know this,  if your feeling tired and cold, worn down and strung out from the road,
just remember i’ll be right here, helpin ya carry the load, 
and if your just looking for the end of the line, 
but you just keep falling further behind,
 and your out here looking for something your not sure you’ll ever be able to find, 
running from memories like ghosts, now haunting your mind, 
i’ll be right here by your side, looking out, watching your blind,
so if your feeling like you won’t make it thru,
i’ll stay with ya, to make sure that you do,
cuz i been down the same road once or twice too, and i know where it ends, 
so i know you’ll be needing the love of some  friends, 
it might take some time, til your heart heals and mends
and you’ll have to go through some dangerous curves and perilous bends, 
but don’t get detoured, hold to your course being confident and assured, 
that soon your voice will finally be heard, your cause justified, 
let go of the pain down deep inside, 
so your thoughts will feel the ease of being satisfied 
when you can see the reason for the tears that you’ve cried, 
i’ll do my best to get you thru this hard test and stay by your side, 
cuz for you and i, this ain’t  nothin,   just one more hard ride
