Another Father's Day
Another Father's Day and it has been almost five years
The time seems to fly and yet I am always brought to tears,
Everyday I wish to see and talk to you
My heart aches when I realize it is true,
That December night the Lord above took you away
I just stood there and wanted you to stay,
The tears I have cried since you have been gone
All the memories are there but I still long,
For the day I will see you again
And I hope our new time together will begin.
