Another Day
A genuine soul as clear as crystal
An amazing blessing from above,
A light in a world so terribly cynical
You brighten it up with your true love.
Your smile matches the afternoon sky
In the sun's velvet haze setting,
And it's not a jape nor a lie
That you give my life real meaning.
The lady Luthien of my life,
Your songs make the leaves sway,
Your laugh can stop any strife,
Please be mine for another day.
