Another Dance

Don’t leave me waiting for another dance, Bring your lips close to mine and let them touch: A kiss must not be answered with silence, Just a heartbeat before I ask for a new chance: Show me how the angels taught you to dance. We do not move on the same soft cloud Where you discovered the first dancing steps, as the stars are flipping round and round, The angel’s chorus is listened near and loud: You left your wings buried on a lost cloud. Which melody did we start to follow? There is one music played in the hall, You are crowned by the moon’s glow, And I will not need to wait until tomorrow, Your heart sings and my heart will follow.
