The Whiskey Taster’s Flavor Guide

Another Beer

Done Sang all the songs I had to sing.
Didn't learn a damn thing.
Talked about what was left to do,
But it is hard to find people who are true.
Drank myself under the table now and then
But can't remember when.
Thought I had a chance to make it big,
Hard to do when no one wants to practice for any gig.
Drank another beer or two .
Saw red light and blew through
Time and time I tried
Hear my song I cried
Can hear the songs so I sing them in my head
Wish I could rock out instead.
But I only want it done my own way.
The words I have to say.
The music I want to play.
Saturday nights brings Sundays fights.
Head pounding out a drum solo in my brain.
Maybe it's just that I'm already insane
Ol lady got into a fight
Cause some other wanted to hold me tight.
It's not easy rocking the world today
But still I want to do it my own way.
Thinking about the music I want to play
The sounds I want to hear.
Playing it loud and clear
Then tossing down another beer.
