Another

Dog who Chews has made his way to our home
Chewing the lattice off the porch
Chewing both bumpers off our cars
Chewing the iron gate to the garage
Chewing our willow tree down to a mushroom
I would get rid of that dog! Someone said.
That’s a BAD dog! Another said.
I am glad now that Another never had a dog.
Maybe this is why God also never gave Another a child to call bad.

Absolutely! There is no such thing as a BAD dog. There are untrained dogs. There are mischievous puppies. But, all dogs have great promise when they are loved and taught how to behave. They will do anything to please you...even stop chewing, when you convince them you will love them more if they don't chew on things. Besides, he's probably still cutting jaw teeth! The bumpers on your cars, did you say?????

This is a determined PUPPY. I get totally ballistically angry when I hear a teacher say "bad kid". You would not believe my bad behavior.
