Anorexic

Skin and bones, some say she's too thin
Kind of looks like a frail stick
Each day she runs, fast paced
Lost look in her eyes
Eats less and less
Torn and sad
One word
Numb

well, this one caught my attention for personal reasons as i live with this condition...that aside, you've made very good use of single syllable words to create a coherent and hard hitting piece...a slight niggle, i don't like to see 'kind of' in a poem, and if it hadn't been for that this would have placed higher - congrats on your win in my contest!
