Anne's Desires

. for public domain Anne's desires and dreams, her everyday schemes, her joy to continue on living, her smile that beams, her life beyond means, takes all that I have for the giving. And what do I get? Haven't figured that yet. But I know I must have her beside me. From Anne I draw life, be it bliss, be it strife, she enriches all which is inside me.

I really like this poem William. I'm a sucker for good rhyming and this is good rhyming. I'm intrigued and want to know more about Anne. Is she your partner? Apologies but I'll be honest and say that for a fleeting moment the line 'But I know I must have her beside me.." had me thinking Ann may even be a pet. Whoever Ann is, she means a lot to you and someone you draw much inspiration from. Love permeates your words. Cheers - Gary

"Anne", or "Ann", may refer to any source that sparks the reader's imagination and enhances the reading. Glad to hear the rhyme contributes to the verses' lightheartedness.
