Animals

They are not wild,
They are not pets,
They are not objects to be used

They are not yours,
They are not mine,
To treat however we may choose

They have a life,
They have a home,
Beyond our pens and cages too

Let them be free,
Like you and me,
To roam the Earth in peace.

I know why the caged sheep sings. And many a dog and cat does pretty well with people. But yeah, Nick, good message. There are so many sad stories.
