Animal Inside

The animal iside of me
Is an angry one that becomes thee

It is as bad as I say
I would not tell it any other way

It is something not possible to overcome
It is a monster that seeks some

Its eyes burn in me with deep desire
Desire to surely become a fire

Its teeth rip at my soul, finding every one of my fears
I must not cry, for if he sees the tears

He will win again and again
He will only bring me more and more pain

The great author John Steinbeck wrote that everyone has a bit of evil in them, but in the end, it is up to us to control it. -One love my friend
