Animal Inside
This rage seems to never go away,
and the pain I cause myself,
but I know that it keeps me alive.
The Fear I have keeps me human,
but at times I feel inhuman,
and to go against the world.
I Howl at the Moon,
with Vengeance,
of what they did to me.
With my eyes lit up,
the breath never seems to come in,
but goes out always.
The Wolf I am,
seems to claw at me from the inside out.
To come out and take control,
but I beat myself down,
For I know if I become the Animal inside,
The Human that I am would be locked away.
So hit me again
just one more time,
and release the animal I am.
