Anger and Pain

Anger and pain,
  they're the same.
They're both a flame.
One burns on high.
One burns on low.
One comes out fast.
One comes out slow.
They sting your heart.
They fuel your fears.
They damage the mind
  when no one hears.

What they do through
  the years unfolds.
Unfolds with words
  you can't erase.
Unfolds with screams
  that contort the face.
And the hole that's left
in your heart can't be filled
Except with LOVE
  that can't be stilled.
