Anger

The thunder to the rain,
The fire to the smoke,
Is what we call anger.

The heart of the devil,
The root of all evil,
Is what we call anger.

The weapons to the war,
The accident to a car,
Is what we call anger.

The enemy to a friend,
The start of the end,
Is what we call anger.

The lightning to the cloud,
The assassin among the crowd,
Is what we call anger.

The crack to a cup,
The down to an up,
Is what we call anger.

The alcohol to the driver,
The shark to the diver,
Is what we call anger.

The fire to the wood,
The bad side of the good,
Is what we call anger.
