Angels Will Remain

Teardrops falling from your eyes
heartache somehow found you.
Watching with my heart I see
as angels gather round you.

Helping make it through the day
guarding you while you sleep.
Bringing comfort in the wind
and hold you while you weep.

Crying with you now and then
and loving you awhile.
Until someday your heart will mend
and with it comes your smile.

Knowing all the ins and outs
of everything you're feeling.
When the mourning is all over
bringing you your healing.

For many it's a long long time
as you hold yourself together.
Knowing somehow deep within
you'll be missing them forever.

So until the time is done
your teardrops fall like rain.
Gathered all around you
where angels will remain.
