Angels On a Pedestal

Angels placed upon a pedestal with wings of solid gold
More precious than any diamond or jewel ever sold
Molded so perfectly with God's heavenly touch
The beauty of their souls is entirely too much
Without them man would stumble and probably fall apart
Everything about them is flawless like a precious work of art
Nothing can compare to the love they have to give
You will never find anything like them as long as you live
Out of everything He's given, they are God's most precious gift
The way their souls shine is enough to make your heart uplift
There's nothing in life that could ever compare
To the way they make man feel as if walking on air
I can't thank God enough for these precious stars
These angels on a pedestal, that's what women are
