Angels Love To Sing

Inhalation like a lyric strums my diaphragm
Exhalation like music draws your diagram
The cold wind captures our still frame
I feel your presence spark a flame

I sigh an inaudible note into your heart
Love orchestrating the rhythm and the beat
I whisper a life-giving pulse into your ear 
‘May we never part, I’ll always be near’

The blood coursing through our veins
Form a musical choir with our bones
Our souls step to the heat of our drumbeat 
Our shadows united into a burning silhouette 
 
We dance beyond the grave into heaven
Because angels love to sing and hate sin
Just on our choreography healing will rise 
Because God is a DJ and music answered prayers
