Angels In the Room

Angels in the room
Whispering low,
Waiting patiently
To escort his soul.

They hover around him
Reciting prayers.
Six Angels in three pairs.

Quietly they bow their heads,
All their prayers have been said.

The sound of silence surrounds his bed.

His soul moves on. . . . . . . . .

Judith, I can see them, feel them, and barely hear them. What a beautiful poem, that makes so much gorgeous sense!
