Angels and Lyres

Apollo played his lyre with passion
an atmosphere full of compassion 
as angels sang in perfect harmony 
to this instrument played so artfully,

melodies produced so rhythmical
from this simple yet so technical
challenging stringed harmonious piece
designed, produced, played in Greece,

as dulcet tones echoed out pleasure
tunes of Greek gods historical treasure,
music to serenade an angels desire
instrument of gods the wonderful lyre.
