Angels and Demons
Angels and Demons
There are demons, who haunt me,
My faults and weakness all laid out to taunt me.
And the angels who hold my hand through out it all.
Providing peace and strength, when backed against the wall.
But these demons are with out delay.
They come to tempt me, night and day.
But my angel, he is steady and unmoved.
His strength, tested and proved.
Each both lie in wait.
Ready to guide me to my fate.
Waiting to take me by the hand.
One who will lead me into no man’s land.
A void that lays in the death upon the sand.
And the other waiting to take me into the promise land.
Both armed and ready, sword and knife.
One who fights to take my life.
And the other to make me whole.
In a collision, they battle for my soul.
Though the road to righteousness is narrow and long.
One must not stray, there is a many of ways to go wrong.
So I must stand behind this angel, and stay on track,
For they are always waiting,
The demons at my back.
