Angels

“Angels”

Some scoff and say angels don’t exist,
I’ve got reason to believe they do - it’s a lengthy list.
There are two kinds of angels - those that are heavenly, those that are hellish
Angels from above are pure and bright and kind, they have no need to embellish
Angels from below bring temptation, they are deceivers,
I think both types are real because I’m a Bible reader and believer.
I have no fear of either kind, knowing it’s God who’s fully in control,
& that He sends out heavenly angels as He pleases when we to be protected and consoled.
I have “angels” on this earth as well - people who bring truth to my life,
Who are truly present and reliable in moments of deep sorrow or strife.
Those that love me tender, love me true,
I sure hope you’ve got people in your life like this - that prove to love you.
Whether or not you believe in “angels” on earth, angels from below, or angels from above,
Cling to what is good and true - cling to Love.
