Angels
Thank You God for Your angels
Ministering to us daily;
Sheltering us by Your divine grace;
Protecting us from the enemy.
Although we cannot see them
By faith we know they’re there.
Sometimes they show up physically,
But that is rather rare.
Your angels are Your helpers
On earth and in heaven above;
Shielding the righteous
With Your immortal love.
Evil angels assist the enemy
For one-third were cast from heaven;
Defying You on every account;
Love in complete abandon.
If it were not for Your angels,
We’d simply not survive.
For they constantly protect us;
By Your power kept alive.
We are in a spiritual battle,
With armies on each side,
Although the battle’s invisible,
It can never be denied.
At the very end of time
Your angels will be there
To protect the righteous
From Satan’s ugly snare.
He will try to destroy the obedient;
Tell all that the righteous are to blame
For earth’s calamities and pestilences
That continue to remain.
Ministering angels in heaven
Will send God’s seven plagues of justice;
Down from heaven’s sanctuary—
Judgment’s completion notice!
Angels will accompany you, Lord,
In Your Second Coming event;
Will gather up the righteous hearts,
Engraved with Your love commandment.
