Angels
Have you ever seen an angel
in the early morning light?
Have you felt their loving arms
as you were sleeping late at night?
Have you ever heard a voice
softly whisper in your ear?
Have you been scared and all alone
then suddenly not felt any fear?
There are angels all around us,
they come in different forms and shapes.
They might come as a kiss from your mother,
or one of your children dressed in a cape.
When you lift your heart up high,
just listen and you will hear.
The loving words of Jesus,
as his angel whispers in your ear.
