Angelic Guidance

He was flung to Earth for his despicable sin
when God discovered he lied to Eve in Eden;
and with broken wings, he couldn't fly anymore...
into the dark forest he inconsolably wept on a stone.

No, that one wasn't a loyal, obedient angel
that worshiped God as others that didn't fall;
he became the ruler of this world so insane,
but couldn't make any follower of Christ sin.

It's not a legend...this really happened,
one wouldn't believe that some angels sinned;
was it because of envy towards their Creator,
or even towards the Word our Mediator?

" Angels descend, bring from above,
echoes of mercy, whispers of love..."
they keep us safe from those battering seas;
all they desire for us is brotherhood and peace.
