Angelic Face

Mother’s Day Tribute

Oh how I long to see your angelic face
To hear your words of wisdom coming from that special place
I know you are in heaven above looking down
Thanking God for finally giving your child His crown
Holding onto the angels delicate hands
Praying with them those prays that I take my stand
In not letting go of my Master hands
To not keep running from Him as I have been
Doing the things I need to do to make it in
I miss seeing your sweet angelic face
While you loved me all over the place
I am striving to become that woman of God
That will make you proud of me way by far
I thank you Mom for all that you did for me
Especially the love you showed by staying down on your knees.

Behold, I send an angel before thee, to keep thee
in the way, and to bring thee into the place which
I have prepared.
