Angelic Devil

The sorrow within is deep,

I can't shake this feeling.

I lie in bed counting sheep,

My open wound slowly bleending.

The night seems so long,

I seek the comfort of silence.

I must admit, I'm not so strong,

I gave into your rage and violence.

I only asked that you love me,

I only asked to be given your heart.

But in return you torment me,

Now as consequence of your behavior we drift apart.

How can such beauty be such angel and devil?

How can a man fall to a woman's feet with such ease?

How can your heart contain such feelings, such evil?

How can I ever find within me what she took, my peace.
