Angel Wings
I fell asleep on angel wings such pure and gold
But woke on jagged horns so rough and heavy
Such a burden to carry this heavy load
Heart shattered and broken
Voiceless with words unspoken
Nothing is ever as it seems
Living life on bended knee
Praying for an end to the misery
Endlessly searching for a brighter way
A path to life’s sunny day
The darken clouds, blow them away
To finally see the sun
Nowhere to run
Nowhere to hide
Stuck in this place
Trapped inside this night
Finally find a smile…I just might
And return to my angel wings and hold on tight.
With all my strength and all my might.
