Angel Sat With Me

An angel sat with me, when I was young,
Taught me how to act and have fun,
Guided me through the meaning of life,
A helpful hand through my trouble and strife,

Reached out and helped me along,
Though most of the time, I was wrong,
An angel sat with me, when I was young,
Showed me the beauty of the sun,

Now that the angel maybe far away,
Or sitting with me throughout the day,
For others ideas of Angels maybe far flung,
An angel sat wit me, when I was young,

One day I will meet my guide,
With the rolling of the last tide,
Until that day Mum,
I will admire the beauty of the sun.

Hello Jeffery, this poem is so beautifully done. Your mother is your angel. Have a nice day my friend.
