Angel On My Mind

Angel on My Mind

I told her she was beautiful
She asked if I was blind
So I whispered softly to her
I'm so glad that you are mine
And told her that I wouldn't look
Cause I'd surely never find
Anyone who could compare
To the angel on my mind
She held me ooh so tightly
As her eye brought forth a tear
Wondering is this just a game
Of what's she wanna hear
But when she looked into my gaze
The worry seemed to disappear
I said I love an angel
And she knew I was sincere
I know she is an angel
She sets my spirit free
She doesn't want to change a thing
She's happy that I'm me
That is why I chose to drop
Down upon one knee
And asked to spend forever
In true equality
