Angel On a Pedestal

Angel on a Look at you now, you took a vow. To protect humanity and not seeking vanity. But you let his deceit lured you in greed, He wanted it all, even knowing what is at stake, Now you have to pay for his mistakes. It was too late to repent when you comes to your senses. You took his side, now left without a tribe. Cast out, and doomed, on Earth you roamed. From one host to another, No one want you as their sister or brother. All you have left, is two broken wings, No pride, nowhere to hide. Camouflaged as a statue, very still You occupy this concrete pedestal. Hoping that one day God will, Embrace you in His Kingdom again.
