Angel of Mine

Angel of mine
Where have you been?
Searching my whole life
For my forever friend

Angel of mine
Where did you go?
Looking for you
Finding only lost souls

If I could fly to where you are
If I could take flight here and leave
If I could fly to where you are
Close to you in my imagining

Angel of mine
When will we meet?
Shaped from the stars
Designed destiny

Angel of mine
Can you hear me?
Opened my heart
Partly whispering

If you are a part of my big plan
If you had wings long enough to reach
If you are a part of my big plan
Prayer screams are you listening?

My angel of mine
Fallen down to the earth
Through my lonely eyes
Washing over all my hurt

Beautiful lyrical poem, Kristina. So many of us can relate to this spiritually infused poem. Your bard words express well how we do feel in our lonely fortresses of solitude. Your pen shines w/a radiant glow. Absolutely gorgeous poetry. Love and hugs always.

Thanks Freddie for reading this lyrical poem that a song inspired me to change up into my own version. I have always loved music however lately I do not do as many things involving my many talents and singing has been one for long time. Glad you enjoyed this musical rewrite! XO
