Notes About The Poem

Inspired by my friends, Naomi and Danielle.

Angel Friends

"Angel Friends"

There are Angels among us,
       True friends by name,
Together we soar,
       Barren of shame.

Through currents of life,
       Some ups, some downs
Through joyful smiles,
       Through tears and frowns,
We rise, we fall,
       Together through all.

Should one of us, our wings
       Become in need of repair,
We know we're okay,
       Still free from despair,
For we carry each other
       Through times of bad
And soar together
       Through times of glad.

There are Angels among us,
       Through intention Divine,
Blessings of Love
       By God's Design.

Yes friends are as you so truly convey very special and precious.Sadly I have outlived quite a few of mine.Still there are memories and photographs so they are not lost forever. Your words touched me.Thank you Artsieladie, which you definitely are with your writing.
