Angel Eyes

ANGEL EYES

Angel Eyes in heaven
Looking down on me
Tracing out the tear stains
That everyone can see.

Dancing through the blue skies,
Tripping over clouds,
Trying not to run into,
fluttering wings in the crowds.

Time for me to notice,
the people standing there
The ones that glow and glisten,
as I stop and stare.

The one that I remember,
that’s looking back at me.
The one that helped me tie my shoe,
oh what a basic memory.
