Angel
I once heard an angel sing
She was graceful and danced and showed off her wings
Her eyes sparkled like the shooting stars in the midnight of spring
She laid her gaze upon me
And we had our fling
I was a fool to have thunk that she wanted a ring
Instead my heart was shot across the sky with a devilish fling
But honestly, who would known I'd be left at my thrown
As a heartless king
