Angel

Angel
An Angel danced for me last night
Amid an iridescent light
Floating softly as a cloud
With golden hair and silver shroud

Her winsome face and ice white glow
With emerald eyes and skin like snow
A sparkled trail as she danced around
She sang a song, without a sound

I could hear her clearly, in my head
As she shimmered just above the bed
A voice to match that perfect smile
It lasted just a little while

An Angel danced for me last night
Amid an iridescent light
She faded in the early dawn
She touched my face, and then was gone

A lovely vision you have portrayed in this enchanting piece Leslie. I have a great fondness for Angels and feel they exist. This is beautiful! Aloha, Connie : )

Thank you so much Connie. This poem is about an experience I witnessed a couple of days after my Grandmother passed away.
