The oncoming winter is fast approaching With my limited mobility not looking forward Some would classify me as a shut-in I truly don't have a problem with that Taking into consideration my advanced age Not knowing how much longer I have 'Tis better to be frugal than frivolous Have been extremely fortunate lucky so far My childhood goes way back to a small town Just to the south of Montreal Winters were really quite brutal But as a lad of 3 or 4 I revelled in the snow And then there was hockey...

...sorry for my obscurity....i meant that life be sums of past rings of experiences....some knotted together.....hockey, knots culture.....i was on a hardball team andt played tons of street hockey.....stan
